Serve up a delicious and nutritious breakfast with these blueberry muffins served with vanilla yogurt.

The muffins are packed with fresh blueberries and have a light and fluffy texture.

They’re perfect for a quick breakfast on the go or a leisurely weekend brunch.

The vanilla yogurt is a great accompaniment to the muffins, providing a creamy and refreshing contrast to the sweetness of the muffins.

Plus, it’s a good source of protein, calcium, and probiotics. Start your day off right with this healthy and delicious breakfast option.

2. Blueberry muffins with fresh fruit

Blueberry muffins are a breakfast favorite for many people.

They are moist and sweet, with a hint of tartness from the blueberries.

One of the best ways to enjoy blueberry muffins is with fresh fruit.

The sweetness of the berries complements the flavor of the muffin, and the colorful fruit makes for a beautiful presentation.

Try slicing up some strawberries, bananas, or apples to put on top.

No matter how you enjoy your blueberry muffins, they are sure to be a delicious treat!

3. Blueberry muffins with some honey or maple syrup.

What could be more delicious than a warm, freshly-baked blueberry muffin?

How about adding a touch of honey or maple syrup to take them to the next level of deliciousness?

I love to bake blueberry muffins on a rainy Sunday morning and enjoy them with a cup of tea.

The smell of them baking in the oven always makes my mouth water.

And when they’re done, I can’t wait to take that first bite.

So if you’re looking for a special treat, give these honey- or maple-sweetened blueberry muffins a try!

4.  Jam or jelly on top of a blueberry muffin.

Anyone who has ever had a muffin knows that it can be a delicious treat.

But did you know that there are ways to make them even better?

One great option is to spread some delicious jam or jelly on top of your muffin.

The sweet and fruity flavors will complement the moist and fluffy muffin perfectly.

And the best part is that you can use any type of jam or jelly that you like.

So if you’re in the mood for raspberry, strawberry, or even apricot, feel free to experiment until you find your perfect combination.

The next time you’re enjoying a muffin, remember to try this tasty tip.

5. Try adding some nuts or seeds to the top of your blueberry muffins.

When it comes to baked goods, blueberry muffins are a classic. But why not give them a little twist?

Try adding some nuts or seeds to the topping mix.

It’s a simple change that can add a lot of flavor and texture.

Just be sure to use chopped nuts or seeds so they don’t overwhelm the muffins.

You could also use a mixture of both to really mix things up.

And don’t forget to experiment with different types of nuts and seeds.

One of our favorites is to add flax seeds and slivered almonds.

Just about anything goes!

So go ahead and give your blueberry muffins a little extra something.

You just might be surprised at how delicious they can be.

6. Chocolate lovers will love pairing their blueberry muffins with Nutella or chocolate chips.

If you’re a chocolate lover, there’s no better way to enjoy a blueberry muffin than by pairing it with Nutella or chocolate chips.

The rich, creamy flavor of chocolate pairs perfectly with the sweetness of blueberries, and the combination is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Plus, adding chocolate to your muffin will give it an extra boost of antioxidants.

So not only will you be enjoying a delicious treat, but you’ll also be doing your body a favor.

Chocolate is good for you!

I love Nutella slathered on muffins or on the side as a dipping sauce.

7. Another classic pairing is blueberry muffins and whipped cream.

It’s hard to beat a classic blueberry muffin.

The sweetness of the berries pairs perfectly with the rich, moist muffin, and the hint of creaminess from the whipped cream takes the flavors to another level.

There’s something about this particular pairing that just works – it’s no wonder it’s such a popular choice.

When you’re looking for a simple but delicious treat, blueberry muffins and whipped cream are always good options.

If you’re looking for something a little more savory, here are some ideas:

8. Try serving your muffins with scrambled eggs or bacon for a delicious breakfast combo.

What goes better with a blueberry muffin than a plate of delicious scrambled eggs?

Or maybe you prefer your muffins with a side of crispy bacon?

Either way, you can’t go wrong with this classic breakfast combo.

The rich, fluffy texture of the eggs pairs perfectly with the light, airy muffins, while the bacon adds a salty and satisfying crunch.

We love this for in the morning, but it is our favorite breakfast for dinner choice!

I usually add a side of sweet potato homefries and sometimes switch out breakfast sausage for the bacon.

And with so many delicious flavors of muffins to choose from – blueberry, chocolate chip, banana nut, and more – we never get bored.

Muffins are a versatile and convenient food that can make a great addition to any lunchtime meal.

Not only are they quick and easy to prepare, but they can also be packed with a variety of nutritious ingredients.

We are a busy homesteading and farming family.

Homemade Blueberry Muffin Recipe:

A classic breakfast or snack choice, blueberry muffins are a common favorite!

As with most things, however, they’re so much better when homemade!

We tried this recipe and ended up with delicious, fresh, and moist muffins that satisfied our family easily!

Follow the simple instructions and ingredients below, and you’ll have ended up with amazing blueberry muffins!

Best of all? They’re super easy to make!

What To Serve With Blueberry Muffins: 11 Perfect Pairings

As far as ingredients go, you don’t need much to make delicious homemade blueberry muffins!

You’ll want a few separate bowls for different dry ingredients, but you can totally do it all in one if you’d prefer!

If you prefer your muffins a little on the drier side (not a bad thing by any means!) you can adjust the vegetable oil slightly.

Some quick and easy measuring, pouring, and mixing and you’re ready!

Now, onto the ingredients!

As with most baked goods, the most important ingredient is the flour!

For the other dry ingredients, you’ll want granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

The wet ingredients are fairly simple as well, with an egg, some milk, and vegetable oil.

Unsurprisingly, you do want some fresh or frozen blueberries (thawed), these are blueberry muffins after all!

Check below for the exact measurements and ingredient list!

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • ¾ Cup Milk
  • ½ Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Blueberries, Fresh or Frozen (Thawed)

Baking

Now it’s onto the fun stuff, actually making the muffins!

Before you start mixing, you’re going to want to preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

Then, line a muffin tin with paper or reusable liners.

In a large bowl, whisk together your wet ingredients.

When the egg, milk, and vegetable oil are whisked together, gradually add in the flour, baking powder, and salt!

Once all of the ingredients are thoroughly combined and look like a batter, lightly fold in the blueberries.

You want to be careful not to pop any of them, though some of them will obviously burst while baking.

When you’re done, you’re ready to start pouring!

Now it’s time to actually start forming the muffins!

Spoon the prepared muffin batter into the muffin tins until they’re about halfway to three-quarters full.

Once you’re done filling them, it’s time to finally start baking.

Lightly dust the muffins with sugar and bake for 20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

If you’d prefer, you can use some larger grain sugar for a little added texture to the tops of the muffins.

We used standard granulated sugar to simplify the ingredient list for this recipe, however.

When done, remove from the pan immediately and allow it to cool.

Serve them on their own or with soft butter.

You can also grill them super easily in a pan for an amazing, incredibly delicious (if slightly unhealthy) breakfast!

However you eat them, these muffins are so worth it!
